As Denver moves toward smarter governance, it's time to modernize how land records are managed. I propose a centralized digital land records system that:

Allows citizens to search land ownership data, survey maps, and property history by parcel ID or name

Reduces fraud through real-time updates and verifiable digital entries

Improves interdepartmental coordination (assessor, clerk, zoning, planning)

Offers public access via a mobile-responsive portal with GIS integration

Saves time for citizens and officials by cutting red tape and paperwork

For inspiration, similar models have been implemented internationally. One example is a project in India—RTC Bhoomi (https://rtcbhoomi.com/)—which provides real-time, transparent access to land records for citizens. A Denver-specific version could greatly improve land administration efficiency, transparency, and civic trust.
